California is undoubtedly in the fore front of underground hip-hop music, providing us all as musicians with such amazing inspirations. From our city streets, to our skyscrapers and our beautiful woman, we really do have it made. Last year was a big year for a lot of underground hip-hop artists such as: Magnificent Ruffians, Azma Instigater, Filthone, Born5thChild, Swift Dixshun and many artists in between.
One group that is definitely worth a listen? Free The Robots, coming from Orange County, CA. Their latest album “Ctrl Alt Delete” on Alpha Pup records has a dark vibe to the album. Check out the official video for their song ‘Jupiter’ and don’t forget to check out some of the other artists mentioned in the article.
Im glad to see the underground seen goin strong in O.C. and the I.E. There's alot of good artists out there and thanx to peeps like you we get to hear about who's hot.
